We strongly believe in giving fair trade value to the African artists and craft people. We buy direct from the craft people, knowing that the welfare of entire families is dependent on these sales. Africa By Design is involved in providing scholarships that allow African children to get a quality education. We spend our summer months in Africa, doing various aid projects in the villages. We have supplied wheelchairs to crippled youth and adults and dug wells and water retention systems in villages.
