This is a variation of the Ngaady aMwaash, the female royal mask. It is a good display traditional forms: the hollowed oval form, carved from lightweight wood, the rounded chin beneath the prominent nose with flaring nostrils, the large, coffee-bean shaped eyes and high cheekbones above multiple piercings.
