Unique carved stool or stand. It was described to me as being a stand or holder for the chief's book. What the significance is of this, or what book was being held or even the validity of this description, I do not know. I only know that this is a unique piece of wood carving, with intricate carvings on the face and top surface. I have never seen anything like this piece nor have any other people I consulted. |
